 Imaging sitting on your patio on a cool summer evening listening to the sound of flowing water. There are few things that are more relaxing than that. A properly installed water feature can be a priceless addition to your landscape. Keep in mind though, water features will come with routine maintenance and yearly start up and shut down.

 The most common strategy we see customers take when it comes to landscaping is a low maintenance strategy. This is also the strategy we recommend to most customers. A low maintenance design is going to continue to look nice for longer intervals of time without needing any attention. A really busy design with lots of plants that need pruning, and flowers that need tender care, will look great at first. But as life gets busy those types of designs tend to get out of control. That beautiful landscape has now turned into a small jungle.  

 An evergreen shrub can give just the right amount of green to an all white landscapes during the winter.  

Burning bushes give a nice red color in the fall, and with wide branches catch snow in the winter, providing an interesting visual piece during the winter.

Ornamental grasses are also good at catching the light slow and offering  some winter time beauty.
